Anywho Reverse Phone Look up: Privacy Nightmare or a Convenient Instrument?

Our world is evolving at a whooping rate.

Most individuals think that the IT world is the fastest growing sector. But it’s not true. It is actually the medical world which is seeing the biggest amoutn ofgrowth. These advancements are very promising. This is especially true in the field of genetics. Of course the Electronic Technology sector is not to be dismissed either. Information technology has seen its fair share of growth also. Unfortunately some of it is quite controversial. Reverse phone lookup would be a good case. Before if you wanted to get a name of a person you would need to manually look for the phone number in a telephone book. It made the task almost impossible to perform (especially for those who lived in highly populated areas).

Are You For or Against Drilling in ANWR?

ANWR drilling is a sore subject.  It’s constantly discussed and debated, particularly during elections.  It takes a decent understanding of all the issues involved to join the discussion.

The anwr drilling issue starts in the beautiful state of Alaska.  ANWR is the name given to 19 million acres on Alaska’s North Slope – the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.  The area became a federal protected area in 1960.  Since then more land has been added.  The stated purpose of protecting the area was so resources could be preserved  What good are resources that can never be tapped?

Hot Trends In Day To Day Magazines

Most of us do not make clear categorization on the magazines and periodicals that we read. We are doing disservice to our information gathering capabilities.

General Categorization Of Magazines And Periodicals

Broadly speaking there are 2 categories of magazines and periodicals – day to day and specialty.  Day to day magazine gives daily update on issues affecting us, such as lifestyle and business trend. Specialty magazines provide specialised information and news that do not change daily but over a period of weeks or months. For example: auto trends, computer gadgets, art events.

Crackdown on cyber crime

Police in the UK have now been given permission to hack into home computers. The practice has already been quietly adopted over the UK using technology to search computers of those who are suspected of child-crime and paedophilia. Hacking into computers is more known as cyber crime however the detailed tactic is now being used to find people are suspected of awful internet crime which is obviously harder to try and track down.
The chief constable for the police department must clear the hacking of someone’s computer on a case by case basis, but inevitably human rights and privacy groups will be up in arms about the news that the government will again be taking steps toward making this country a policed state. It is rumoured that the current legislation of a chief okaying the survey of someone’s computer will eventually diminish and police will be able to surf people’s machines when and how ever they want. Personally, I think this is no different from breaking down someone’s door and rifting through their private paperwork and seizing all of their own personal documentation. The police force have already confirmed that they have carried out several hacking operations in 2007 and 2008. 133 in private homes, 37 in offices and 24 in hotels. This radical development in being able to hack into people’s computers comes as the police have recently announced that they will aggressively pursue serious and organised criminality on the net including all forms of cyber crime.
I am all for cracking down on people who perform cyber crime and it appears as though this is the only way to combat something as serious as that yet it is getting far too close to breaching peoples civil liberties and you can be sure that people will be protesting alot against such an intrusion to their own personal life.
